Lake Guides
We recommend for all first time guests to hire a guide for the first day or two. Experienced guides, should you choose one, will help you find just the right bay, weed-bed or drop off, plus give you tips on what the latest, most productive techniques & lures are. Our guides also prepare & serve your freshly caught fish at shorelunch- one of the highlights of the day.
River Trips
For those people who would like a nice change of pace from the main lake, the Esnagami River offers the opportunity for an exciting day of Speckled Trout (Brook Trout) as well as Walleye, and Northern Pike fishing. The Esnagami River is eight miles down the lake and flows north as part of the Hudson Bay watershed. Fishermen on a day trip can regularly expect to catch up to 100 Walleye and a good number of Brook Trout in the 1 lb to 3lb class. The scenery is spectacular! View the peace and solitude of the many streams and the rushing rapids and falls that are just some of the many things you will come across on your journey down the Esnagami River. River trips must be booked in advance.
