To make the most of your fishing experience on Esnagami Lake, consider hiring one of our experienced guides. Friendly and capable, our guides can assist you in choosing the right tackle, locating prime fishing locations and navigating your way around our 18,000 acre lake.

Within a short time you will be catching fish at one of the lake’s many weed beds, sandbars, reefs, bays or drop-offs, while learning about the history of the region.

Guides will also prepare your freshly caught Walleyes at shore-lunch, a wilderness tradition that is often the highlight of the day.

Esnagami River Trips

Opt for a trip down the famed Esnagami River, and our experienced guides will will take you through swift rapids, smooth running gravel beds and deep plunge pools, while offering  their expertise on how to hook and land the plentiful Brook Trout and Walleye that are found here. Average Trout run in the 1 1/2lb to 2 lb range (15″ to 17”), with numerous fish weighing in in the 3 to 6 lb range and stretching the tape up to 24”. Walleye are numerous and run in the 2 to 4 lb class.

Overnight River Trips

Guided trips with an overnight stay at the River Camp are also available. This option allows you to travel further down the Esnagami River fishing for Brook Trout and Walleye.
